About Kathleen

Born in California. Loved art since childhood. Married a photographer, traveled the Western US, painting landscapes, and all subjects. Had 3 lovely daughters. Lived 10 years in Alberta, Canada. Raised and handled Wild Animals for the movies. Exhibited paintings in Calgary and Banff. Moved to Lexington, KY. Exhibited there for 22 years. Returned to Lake Arrowhead, California, Exhibited at the Blue Jay Gallery and the Mt. Arts Association. Traveled the World, including Africa, Mexico, and Europe.

In Bandon, I paint with the Plein Air group and in my home studio. My special gift is to be able to feel the Essence Energy of a person, place, or object and paint it on canvas in oils…Big, Bold Abstract designs.
