Inspiration
I began drawing and painting at a very early age and was self-taught using many fine books and publications.
I was able to take extension courses for artists offered through the University of Alaska.
I began my career painting boats, landscapes, portraits, and the Tlingit peoples; receiving many commissions as l worked in oil and acrylics using palette knife and brush.
I have enjoyed traveling throughout the state of Oregon and the creativity inspired by its many spectacular scenes, its interesting harbors and boats, as well as dramatic seas at the river bars.
