About Sally

Photography is a lifelong passion for me. I have always loved capturing images of our natural environment in a way that expresses the immense joy I feel when I am watching the sunset or waves crashing on the shore or wandering along a forest trail. 

I am mostly a self-taught photographer and continue to learn new things everyday about the art of photography. In my practice I strive to use my camera in ways that capture images that require minimal editing; however, I will use the latest tech to edit my images to reflect what I saw, and not necessarily what the camera captured. My photography has won awards, and I have judged the Art by the Sea 'Eye of the Lens' photography community show, as well as the Coos County Fair photography competition.

I enjoy seeing what sparks others to take photographs and how they present them to the public. My hope is that you will enjoy my images and feel the same sense of wonder that I feel at the juxtaposition between the power and peacefulness of our beautiful planet - to see the beauty around you!
