Join Jen Lee for a Bargue Drawing Course. For ages 12 and up.

To be a good painter, you have to start with good drawing skills.

Bargue drawing classes will teach you line control, how to observe detail, learn values, and learn accuracy even when drawing upside down. This is done by copying detailed plates from the classical master of Charles Bargue. Students cultivate patience, perseverance, and a keen eye for detail, ultimately improving their drawing ability. Anyone who wants to be a serious artist SHOULD do the Bargue course. Having an instructor is invaluable in this process.

Pay for Barque Drawing class at ABTS Gallery at time of registration. Please arrive 15 minutes early to Register and set up. One hour class on Wednesdays at 12:30 to 1:30pm. Schedule flexibility available.
