Bill Kuhlemeier

  • About

Bill “K9” Kuhlemeier has been interested in photography from a young age when he and his dad both shot with Minolta 16 pocket cameras that used 16mm movie film. They developed and printed their photos in a bathroom converted to a darkroom. In his teens he acquired a Canon AE1 SLR that traveled with him during his early USAF career to Europe where he mostly shot slides, which is what a poor G.I. could afford!

  • Medium

With the advent of Digital photography, he has progressed through several generations of point and shoot cameras and then to DSLRs. He currently shoots a Canon R5 Mk2.  He can frequently be seen walking the beaches in Bandon or the various scenic trails in the area with his camera.

  • Inspiration

Bill lives in Bandon Oregon after spending a career mostly in the So. Cal desert as an Aerospace Engineer. Bill is an active member of both the Bandon Photo Club and the Oregon Coast Photographers Association.  He likes to share his photography experience and skills and frequently teaches photography and Lightroom/Photoshop classes at both photo clubs.
