Jen Lee

Jen Lee is a fine artist living on the stunning coast of the Pacific Northwest. She works in oil, graphite, watercolor and digital media, creating emotive portraits and ethereal imagery inspired by people, animals, and the natural world.

Jen’s artistic journey began at a young age with pencil portraiture—drawn to how a person’s eyes can reveal their truest self. Over time, her creativity expanded into digital media, where she built a career in digital art embellishment and web design for clients and fellow artists, and furniture design for the hospitality industry.

Now she prefers the quiet intimacy of fine art, where she can fully express her love of capturing genuine human and animal personalities and nature’s quiet miracles including the many emotions they stir. Her award-winning pieces have earned recognition for their emotional depth and luminous technique. Whether working with a brush, graphite, or a digital stylus, Jen’s goal remains to create artwork that resonates with soul, beauty, and enduring emotional presence.

She continues to refine her craft through studies of classical techniques, including Bargue drawing and copying the paintings of the masters.  She endeavors to bring both technical skill and heartfelt sensitivity to everything she creates.

Jen is offering art classes in the Atelier Bargue Drawing Course, Watercolors and Oil Painting. Registration and set up is at the Art by the Sea Gallery, 15 minutes before class starts.
