Barbara Schoonover’s Story
I have been a fiber artist over 40 years specializing in tapestry and nuno felting.
Nuno felting is a technique where I use wool (roving) that I work through sheer silks using water, soap and agitation to create a strong bond with incredible texture.
I create art to wear: flowing scarves, vests, ponchos, capes, and table runners, etc.
