My introduction to the fascinating world of fiber arts came from a small farm in central PA where I lived and raised my two sons. Little did I know that two baby lambs (a Dorset and a Southdown) would begin a passion for the forgotten art of spinning and weaving. Spinning their wool into yarn and weaving it into woven functional creations filled me with a sense of delight and purpose. Raising the sheep, shearing, processing the wool and weaving also gave me a deep appreciation for the entire process. From this humble beginning and decades later, following a full-time career of counseling, I am now turning this skill into the creation of hand-woven art.

My husband and I retired to Bandon some years ago and the inspiration of the ocean, sunsets, flowers and our beautiful coastal community provide a daily appreciation for the expression of beauty. My goal is to gift people with the inspiration and deep thankfulness each day.
