March 11 - 27 - Ceramic Mask Making with Sandra Heinzmann (Monday class 10:00-12:00 – Flexible,  Wednesday class  10:00-12:00)

1st WEEK:  Hand building Pointers

Creative Process/ Drawing your ideas down

Shaping with plaster Forms

Building the mask

2nd WEEK: 

Masks will be in leather form 

Add pieces that animate your mask

Hand painting with underglaze

3rd WEEK:

Masks will be in bisque form

Finish painting

Clear glazing

4th WEEK:

Pick up finished mask!

$200   $50 deposit required   This includes 12.5 lbs of clay, paint, 2 firings, and use of all tools. 

Please wear your play clothes and/or bring an apron.  Everything washes out.
