An exhibit is currently being displayed at Bandon Library Art Gallery and will be on show during the months of December, 2018 and January, 2019. Featured artists are Christine Hall, as well as Art by the Sea Gallery members Barbara Lebiedzik and Carol Jones, who together make up the Nature Works Collective. Works on display are various fabrics and papers that have been eco-printed with locally gathered botanicals, including: eucalyptus varieties, rose, geranium, maple, oak, cotinus, garden weeds, flowers etc. Some items have also been treated with natural dyes, such as lac (insect indigenous to southeast Asia), logwood extract (originates from the Yucatan region of Mexico and is naturalized through Central America and parts of the Caribbean), and pomegranate powder (dye properties are found in both the rind and the flowers).
